Information
Frog's
eat insects and minnows. Most frogs have a sticky tongue.
To catch an insect, the frog flips out its tongue rapidly,
get the insect and retracts its tongue. Frogs only have
teeth in their upper jaw to help bite into their attackers
so they have to eat food without chewing it. So they can't
eat anything as big as squirel or human. So don't be afraid
of them.
A frogs enemy will eat them. Fish, racoons, turtles, snakes
and even people like the taste of frogs. So these critters
really have to watch their step. Different frogs have
different ways to protect themselves. Some have poison
skin. Some are brightly colored to protect themselves.
Completely red or yellow frogs are poisonous and don't
want you to touch them.
